Dear God,
You are the ultimate source of strength. When strength is weak, you remind us of the Cross. You remind us of what your Son had to endure on the Cross. You remind us that you are exactly who you say you are. You never fail God. You’re a mystery but you allow yourself to be known to Your Creation. You breathe existence like no other. You hide your church to later on bring them to light. You prepare the humble for bigger things in your kingdom. You raise up, you tear down. You break limitations to do exactly what you wanted us to do God. You choose whomever you desire to choose for your glory and you are such a good good Father. You reveal yourself to whomever you wish. Sometimes, it’s hard to see you. All the times, we wish to see you face to face. But sometimes, you teach us that it’s not by sight but by faith. Faith that we will get to see you face to face and that the sufferings of this world, do not compare to the glory that will be revealed in us. You put us in our paths together to do something so marvelous and that’s what you call your body, the church. The one you bled for. Did it feel lonely?? Did it feel painful?? Did you think about the people after generations to come that would honor you? Did you think about our pain and how you embodied yourself to be a gift of saving for others? Did you think of me? Did you think of us? Did you decide that the pain was worth it? What were you thinking of? Were you thinking of us when you were nailed to the Cross by your own culture? Were you in so much pain? How are your hands? How was your hurt? You’re so strong. To be able to still love your enemies. Despite it all. You still choose to love.
Jesus you are God. There’s no other God but you.
In Jesus name, I’ve gotten to know, amen.
Sincerely,
A faith family member
