“Using social media platforms”
It starts in the secret place:
Meaning you should be sure that God is calling you toward ministry. Ministry is service to God and it’s giving freely to God what He has freely given to you (deposited in you). Whether it’s: singing, writing, drawing/illustrations, Christian lifestyle content, or whatever field of expertise it is, that’s your ministry. That’s what you’re freely giving to others. When we lay our lives down for others, that’s what ministry is. We lay every aspect of ourselves in order to help someone else get back up and do exactly what they were called to do. It’s not about us, but about the one who called us. He’s faithful and He’ll for sure see you through. If you see someone that does what you do, don’t be afraid to get inspired by their craft. But ensure to let the Holy Spirit flow through you.
It starts by preparing for it:
Start volunteering in your local church, or someone else’s church or earn income serving at your local church so you can learn how to manage your finances (whatever God leads you to do, do it). It’s important to seek God 1st before making any decisions.
Start by lifting others up in prayer. There’s no ministry without prayer and fasting. They who don’t sacrifice spiritually cannot seek ministry privileges for they will lack the spiritual strength to continue.
Start by going to college to study ministry. Do your research online to see what type of college is best for you to study ministry or look on YouTube or Social Media platforms or ask your Christian peers. If this isn’t what God is telling you to do and your church has a ministry preparation program? Go for it or a Bible study class in-depth where you can deeply, thoroughly, study God’s word.
Sometimes we ask Christians who don’t have the means or economics to take courses, it’s okay. Start with what you got. Do what Paul did. He got alone with Jesus and He let Jesus transform Him for 3 years in order to start His ministry. So be prepared for Jesus to lead you to start an online ministry without church approval or a college degree. But if He called you to it, go do it.
Fasting: A spiritual sacrifice where one meal or two meals or three meals aren’t eaten in order to focus on seeking God and prayer. The purpose behind it is to glorify God, let God fill us up, Matthew 17:21-let God break the chains that only He can break in the secret place, also let Him break generational curses off of you in the mighty mighty name of Jesus.
Prayer: Prayer is just talking to God. Every single thing you’d tell a human, you’d have to tell God. Whatever the topic is, just tell Him.
It starts by seeing which social media you’d need and like to use to spread your ministry:
You can use what I use: Tik tok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Whatsapp, or even a Website like WordPress, Blue host, Blogger, Wix, etc.
Please do your research online. Ask God to not allow you to get contaminated with what’s not of Him, while you do so, and just practice researching because that’s part of ministry. No need to look at things that are explicit to prove a point. No need to sin against God to prove a point. Keep it respectful and let His Holy Spirit guide you.
Just get up, stop letting the devil minister to you, and go do what God is calling you to do. I’m supporting you through my prayers and through telling you this! You can reach me if you’d like. About ministry talks.
It starts by seeing the budget causes and expenses you’re willing to sow a seed into your ministry:
It starts by seeing how much you’d like to spend on a website. It starts by seeing if you’d like to monetize your ministry in order to build a church, help out non-profits, lift up other ministries, do so much for God’s kingdom, or to simply manage a blog. But at first, don’t expect income. Don’t expect to grow right away. We shouldn’t go into the field thinking we’re going to receive income. When the focus should be to obey God and get the word of God spread out everywhere for His glory. It starts by including other voices for His glory.
If you’d like for someone to sow a seed to your ministry because you have a lot of expenses to sow to your ministry or it’s what you’re actually living off of: I got you. Start a direct deposit where people can pay you for your work. But if you want to do it voluntarily because God has supplied your need already? then do so or if you want to start off free and then start paying off or letting others pay you, go ahead. Just do what God is calling you to do. There’s no time to waste, Jesus is coming soon for His church!
It starts by seeing whom you can build with:
Don’t build with just anyone. Not to be mean to anyone. But you should be prayerful and see whom God would want you to build with. You can’t build with everyone.
It’s a character refinement ground, so get ready for:
–Consistency–
Revise your work, do your research online if you’d need to, hire someone to work for you (as unto the Lord), and just show up consistently (but through the guidance of God’s Spirit). Just don’t give up.
–Servitude character development–
You’ll grow as a leader. You’ll learn from others too. Even the people you’d least expect it, you’ll learn from.
–Full surrender into God’s leading –
God will request surrender even in areas you wouldn’t want to show up for since He knows it’s needed.
–Spiritual opposition–
Oh, a lot of it. A lot of negativity, demonic oppression, mental battles. So get ready to rebuke a lot in the name of Jesus. A lot of temptation to do nothing. So get up and do something. Do exactly what God is calling you to do.
It starts by seeing the legal aspects (community guidelines, get familiarized with the applications, do your research online in regards to your country, make the calls necessary to continue your ministry, get familiarized with the website you’d like to use (if you’d like to establish your own website) give to Cesar what belongs to Cesar and to God what belongs to Him):
Please be respectful and preach, teach, and prophesy: respectfully.
Get familiarized with the applications!
If there are costs you need to give, be sure to give them responsibly.
Be financially responsible for God.
It starts by knowing well the doctrine, teaching, and preachings you’ll be giving out:
Be careful who you lay hands on and the reason why you’re laying hands on somebody. If you’re called to the nations and to preach in other churches physically.
Know deeply that the Holy Spirit is guiding your doctrine, teachings & preachings.
Be careful what you declare over someone else.
Be sure to be spiritually pure and prepared. A vessel must carry God’s presence wherever they go.
Self-branding:
Brand yourself. Brand your identity as a Christian. Own it. Start a portfolio of your work, it’s free online. You can use an application or Google Site to create a free portfolio. Use your social media as your portfolio. But start somewhere.
You never know what opportunities come your way! If you’ll only believe and have faith. Remember: God wouldn’t give you anything you couldn’t handle!
Collaborations, Partnerships, Sponsorships:
Collab with other ministries, partner with them, get sponsorship if they have that in their ministries. There’s so many cool ministries out there! You’d just have to pray and ask God for help! God bless you! Hope this helps!
Reference Scriptures:
Matthew 22:20-22
1 Timothy 5:18
2 Thess. 3:10
Galatians 1
You can see examples of people’s ministries in the Book of Acts.
I wanted to add if God called you to a professional field in this life, understand your “life needs to honor Him and you must steward that for God’s glory.” You’re a Christian wherever God places you! Be a great one and represent Jesus Christ here on this earth!
Sincerely,
Your sister in the faith
