Based on the Holy Bible of God, we can define that the Holy Spirit has been in the beginning of creation based on Genesis 1:2. I’m going to summarize the scripture based on the KJV translation, the earth was without form, and very void (empty), and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of God (is the Holy Spirit). Ephesians 4:30 states to grieve not the Spirit of God (the key in this is the Bible backing me up by stating The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God). It’s not an unclean spirit. It’s a clean Spirit. We won’t talk about unclean spirits right now. Okay? Okay. The Spirit of God has moved in past Christian churches (Evidence is in Acts 2) and I’m a living testimony that the Spirit of God still moves because I can feel His Presence everywhere I go. I’ve walked a long time with God to know how His Spirit operates.
point #1: the Spirit of God gives dreams, visions:
Joel 2:28 states that God’s purpose is to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. Sons and daughters will prophesy, young people will dream dreams and young people will see visions. This doesn’t mean that the Holy Spirit wouldn’t give dreams to older people or visions. God has no favoritism. God loves us all the same. The gifts given by God’s Holy Spirit are in 1 Corinthians 12 if you want to read about that. But one way God’s Spirit operates is through dreams and visions. If you don’t have His Holy Spirit, best believe you wouldn’t be able to experience this unless God drastically calls you through a dream or a vision to repentance.
point #2: the Spirit of God fills up spiritually:
The Spirit of God fills up spiritually. That revelation is in Ephesians 5:18. The Bible gives us a command to not be filled with wine. It’s not just wine but any alcoholic drink. Just because it’s different flavors, doesn’t mean it pleases God to get drunk. Drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Now with that being said, The Spirit of God fills up spiritually. You want to know the keys to be filled with His Spirit?:
-Romans 12:2, renew your mind.
-Apply the scriptures. James 1:22.
-1 Timothy 4:16, remain in the Gospel. Don’t leave the faith.
-John 4:23-24, worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. Psalms 95:1. Hebrews 13:15 speaks about sacrificing songs of praise to The Lord. Hebrews 12:28 prompts us to serve God. Psalms 29:2 prompts us to worship God by living holy lives.
point #3: the Spirit of God communicates with your spirit:
John 14:26. You can’t expect the Holy Spirit to communicate with you if you don’t make it a habit to look for Him. This is the problem of religion for Christians, if you let religion influence you, religion looks for a god that doesn’t even move supernaturally. Religion will tell you that you need to sacrifice time in worshipping images instead of bowing down to the knowledge of the fact that there’s an existence of a being far greater than our intellect can grasp. That’s quite mysterious yet dashing to know. The devil wants to steal, kill, and destroy purpose. God’s purpose is for you to get to know how the Holy Spirit operates so you can do exactly what the Holy Spirit wants you to do. Trust the voice of the Holy Spirit. The voice of the Holy Spirit will never prompt you to do the very thing that doesn’t please God. Care to know what doesn’t please God? Build this habit of reading and studying the bible for a year. I don’t care how busy your schedule is, I’m extremely busy and I still make time for God, no excuses. Communicate your needs, wants, desires, plans, etc. For many plans are in our hearts but the Lord’s plans shall stand.
point #4: when you receive Jesus Christ, you’re believing in His Holy Spirit:
Acts 2:38. REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED every one of you (baptism means the leaving of an old life to live a new life in Christ), baptism alone doesn’t save. Only Jesus does. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit when you repent. I repented from when I was 12 years old from my sins because I recognized I have a sinful nature and that I’m in need of a secure Savior. I needed someone I needed to confide in this life and Jesus was exactly that for me and He continues to be. Anyways, Repentance+Confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is key. Even if you made a mistake while being Christian and you repented? Do you know the power of repentance? If you knew you would understand why I cry when it comes down to it. When you repent, God forgives you and cleanses you from your sins, and fills you up with His Holy Spirit. That’s how loving God is. He does it with me. He can do it with you too. But don’t take repentance gifts for granted. Don’t do it again. Don’t beat yourself up again and don’t lower yourself for nobody. You deserve God’s love. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Accept His love through His Spirit. Remember Galatians 5 in regard to the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
point #5: the Spirit of God will make you feel bad when you do something that doesn’t please God:
Ephesians 4:30-32 shows that our actions and character can grieve the Holy Spirit of God.
Don’t go through seasons of grieving the Holy Spirit. I honestly can’t state what can happen if His Spirit decides to stop grieving inside of you when you do the wrong thing, but there are individuals who could experience the Holy Spirit (God reveals) and yet do things that don’t please God. . . that’s dangerous. I’ve never had to go through that and I’m grateful for it because I’ve always practiced repentance so I would be able to remain in His Spirit.
But don’t make it a habit to grieve His Spirit because God will humble you and have you go through seasons of straight sadness so you can see how much you really need Him. He’ll have you go through dark valleys so you can see how much you need HIM. HIM, HIM ALONE. Matthew 6:33. The Kingdom of God is within Jesus Christ. Jesus is the righteousness of God. Don’t grieve His Spirit.
point #6: the Spirit of God is a companion for life for believers:
If the Holy Spirit was chosen as your helper in all seasons you go through in this life, trust that the Holy Spirit is your Companion for life. I place this term because it resonates with the quality of Him being your helper. Someone whose your companion will help you, correct? That’s exactly how it is with The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is your Companion for life, for eternity too. That’s why it’s important to cultivate a companionship with not just God. But all of God and part of God is His Spirit. God is Spirit. The Bible mentions God as Spirit. God is Spirit. In order to live in the Spirit we can’t live in the flesh. If we live in the flesh and walk according to the flesh, we will not only inherit the kingdom of heaven but lack the unity of God’s Spirit and having encounters with His Spirit no matter where we go. No matter what we go through, God is in control. Period.
point #7: the Holy Spirit doesn’t tolerate sin:
The Holy Spirit doesn’t tolerate sin. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there’s freedom from sin. When you don’t obey God’s word, you’re automatically in bondage to the darkness instead of the light. It may look pleasurable to the eyes, feel good for a moment and even taste good, but the Spirit of God compels me to tell you, if you continue in sin, God can not bless your life with the will and plans He has for your life. REPENT AND TURN TO HIS WILL!
For those within His will, understand that God is not done with you.
God hasn’t turned the page in your life. If you still have a pulse and you’re breathing learn to detest the things that don’t please God even if some people are uncomfortable around you for it. God doesn’t tolerate sin because it destroys, and neither should you.
point #8: the more you look for God, you get sensitive to His Spirit:
The more you look for God, you’ll be sensitive to His Holy Spirit. That’s why people from church preach on hearing God’s voice or teach on hearing God’s voice or even testify of God’s voice and their experiences. But you would notice this peace about these people. They know God’s presence that’s why. They don’t act out on the flesh when presenting an offering to the Lord of sacrificial teaching and preaching. They surround themselves with people that desire God’s presence as much as they do. They never compare their ministries or their giftings to someone else but instead, they go so faithfully within the scriptures, deep prayer, and deep reflection of His word, they fast for spiritual convenience (from time to time), they keep themselves strong spiritually so when the day of trial comes, God moves mountains for His Glory, Honor, and Purposes. The more you look for God you start looking like a walking Bible.
point #9: doing any speech sacrifice is in vain without a move of His Spirit:
Doing any speech sacrifice is in vain without a move of His Spirit. I’m not saying you have to shout that you lose your voice. By all means, if that’s how you express yourself through His Spirit, do so. But some people like to teach and preach without all that movement. That’s fine but ensure His Spirit is being felt by you. If His Spirit is not moving through you, woe to you! I say this with love. I truly want you to experience a move and touch of God. I’ve been having experiences with God’s presence moving in my life since I was extremely young . I’ve had moments where I was a preteen and I would cry in His Presence when someone would be ministering to me on the altar. I’ve had intense experiences with God since I was barely 12 years old. Children need God as much as an adult does. That’s the problem when someone removes God from Children’s lives. The Bible says to let the Children come to Jesus and don’t prevent them from doing so because the Kingdom of God belongs to them too. Read: Matthew 19:14.
point #10: the Holy Spirit is very loving. Only wants what’s best for you:
The Holy Spirit is not your enemy. You can trust this saying. I believe this word will bring fruition in due time in your life. I’m going to be held accountable on the day of judgment for everything I’ve taught and preached and lived out. So yeah, I’m more afraid of God’s judgment than to show my face in public. But anyways, the Holy Spirit is very loving. Very kind. Every fruit of the Spirit is literally the essence of the Holy Spirit of God. Learn to love yourself enough to accept the fact that The Holy Spirit wants you to move away from a mentality of fearing being left on your own, feeling like no one is there to love you. Feeling like no one is there to uphold you. Feeling like no one is there to hold you. God wants to hold you and be there for you in ways that are so supernatural. It starts by feeling His peace. Not anxiety but His peace. I want you to receive His peace.
point #11: the Holy Spirit is who makes the difference in you. It’s the anointing:
The anointing of God makes a difference in you. Psalm 2:2. Though anyone rises up against you (His anointed), God has the final say. This word is for someone. When tongue rises up against you, your heart shall not fear for God is with you. When war wages against you, your heart will stand strong and not perish. I declare greatness over you in Jesus’s name. I declare territory takers. Winners of souls for God’s sake and God’s goodness. People that make a difference everywhere they go. People that operate in their spiritual giftings without fearing the opinions of others. Spiritually gifted people that will say no to the devil’s offers and yes to God’s will and God’s ways. People that are willing to sacrifice daily devotion to God and His plans. People willing to see a change in this world no matter what others say or try to say. People willing to see a positive change and willing to be the change. Amen? Amen.
point #12: the Holy Spirit moves in a worship congregation, even when you’re seeking God at home on your own:
The Holy Spirit doesn’t move through tongues of fire and people jumping up and down only. This isn’t the only way the Holy Spirit manifests. The Holy Spirit manifests through spiritual gifts operating within church gatherings, but God’s Spirit moves even when you’re seeking God on your own.
Don’t be surprised if you’re singing a worship song while washing dishes and you’re inviting the Holy Spirit in and God decides to touch you.
Don’t be surprised if you’re dancing to a worship song and God decides to touch you.
Don’t be surprised if a talented Christian rapper shares their testimony and frees your mental health from the false perception of what freedom really isn’t. Freedom isn’t being with another person. Freedom is enjoying the Gospel with another person (well that’s a gift you gain through freedom). But it’s also enjoying the freedom of being on your own while immersing in His Presence.
point #13: when you go for an altar call at a church congregation, ensure to receive the gift of The Holy Spirit:
When you go for an altar call at a church congregation, ensure to receive the gift of The Holy Spirit. A part of God’s plan is to give you His gift of His Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit will give you the strength you need to keep going. Even young people (not just older people), go through things in life that cause their bodies to feel tired. That’s normal. But the difference is that a Child of God doesn’t give up because they know who God called them to be. They rise up above what others say and do. They continue to keep walking because the God in them prompts them to keep walking. You keep proclaiming the kingdom of God! You are not a mistake! You were created with purpose! Receive the Spirit of God upon your life and watch His Spirit fall like rain in your life to cause fruition to prosper in your life. Don’t run away from His Spirit but let His Spirit break you so you can be someone ELSE. Someone they don’t recognize anymore because you’ve been changed by His power. You no longer belong to them but to God. You no longer belong to IT because you belong to God. All souls belong to God and He does as He pleases but His will was and still is to give us free will to choose which path we want to take, the narrow road or the deep pit road.
point #14: the Holy Spirit can’t be manipulated for financial gain. He moves as He pleases:
I don’t like if someone uses the ministry of God’s Spirit moving for financial gain. There’s nothing wrong with being paid for the labor you put into God’s Kingdom but some people choose to serve God without no pay and that’s totally okay. I’m currently doing that because it’s spiritual work. Anyways, The Holy Spirit can’t be manipulated for financial gain. Even if you see someone prosper in their wicked plans, it doesn’t mean God approved or elevated them. That was the devil’s snare. Remember how Judas Iscariot walked with Jesus yet sold Jesus for a bag of money? Judas was receiving manna from above to fill him up for the journey ahead but he was chosen by the devil to bring destruction to Jesus’s life. But in reality, it wasn’t so much to fulfill the devil’s plot but God’s plan to bring unity between God and humanity (us). Let’s be grateful and not use the ministry of The Holy Spirit for selfish ambition or to gain followers, likes, and recognition. Rather for a huge move of His Spirit to bring an awakening to those who are sleepers. “GET UP SLEEPER, GOD’S GLORY AWAITS. LET HIS GLORY SHINE UPON YOU. GOD HAS PLANS WITH YOU ARE YOU READY?”
my personal experience with the Holy Spirit?:
small details I’ve noticed:
-As I would read the Bible and ask The Holy Spirit to help me understand what I’m reading. Random words would just speak to me instead of the entire chapter.
-The Holy Spirit brings to remembrance the things that God wants to bring to light.
-The Holy Spirit brings revelation of things to come.
-The Holy Spirit would give you words of encouragement when you’re going through a tough trial God allows you to go through. No, it’s not chance or manifesting without God. It’s His Spirit. Anything else that says otherwise is contradictory to God’s will and therefore is counted as false for Christians. Respect our beliefs.
